Thank You, From Gene Libby & the Mary's Walk Committee

Thanks to Mother Nature holding off, the 18th annual Mary's Walk and Kerrymen 5k was a resounding success! With full sun (and some chill in the air) 1066 runners and 1738 walkers raised over $265,000 in the fight against cancer. Thanks to all, for your generosity in supporting the Maine Cancer Foundation.

We had incredible participation by our fundraising teams lead by Ron Vire, Noella's Team ($6,420), Doug Bennett, Red Storm Strikes Out Cancer ($9,631), and Deb Ricker, Team UNUM ($7,748). Thanks also to Teri Brown of Team UNUM, the top individual fundraiser at $5,548.

Our thanks to Eric And Nancy Marston for sharing their touching and personal story in Nancy's struggle and victory over breast cancer. A truly inspiring story of courage and compassion. Nancy and others rocked by a cancer diagnosis is the reason we carry on the fight.

A big thanks to our sponsors for their support. Please check them out on our website and let them know you appreciate their support of Mary's Walk.

Thornton Academy and over 150 student volunteers were awesome! Did you catch the flash dance in the gym before the opening ceremony?

We hope you enjoyed the food court after the walk and run, please let our food court sponsors hear from you.

And it's not to late to donate to push our total higher.

Slancha!
